Dear Haley,
My sister phoned me today from a book store, where she was trying to buy your book, but she could not remember the name of it...I quickly googled the info and gave it to her. I must admit, I then followed up, as I thought the story was intriguing. Oh my, I had no idea. What an incredible journey you have had....I also live in Annapolis with my husband and four wonderful kids, one of whom is a junior at the Naval Academy and plays for their women's lacrosse team! Her second choice of school was Notre Dame!!! My sister's neighborhood book club is reading your book...she is going through her own struggle with Stage IV breast cancer. Believe it or not, she is my second sister to be diagnosed with this disease and in this stage. Megan is 37, Erin, 39. I know reading your story will help her and I cannot wait to grab that book from her and read it myself. God Bless you. Go Irish! Go Navy, Beat Army!
